About This Position:

As a Principal Product Manager for Agentic AI Platform at G-P, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our Agentic AI strategy and driving the success of platform capabilities that enable AI-powered experiences across our products and operations. You will work at the intersection of AI, platform services, developer experience, security, data, and enterprise SaaS.

This is a platform product role with a strong AI focus. The ideal candidate has deep platform product management experience, strong curiosity about AI, and the ability to translate emerging technology into practical product outcomes.

What you will do:

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Agentic AI platform capabilities, from strategy and discovery to roadmap, execution, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with engineering, data, security, and product teams to build scalable AI-powered capabilities using cloud-native, SaaS, microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
  • Own the product strategy for how agents answer questions, assist users, take actions, access data, use tools, and safely interact with business systems.
  • Work with business product teams to identify and prioritize high-value agentic use cases across customer experience, professional experience, reporting, onboarding, compliance, support, and internal operations.
  • Drive a platform approach for AI by creating reusable patterns, shared capabilities, clear standards, and developer-friendly interfaces that can be adopted across multiple teams and products.
  • Define AI quality and evaluation requirements, including golden datasets, test cases, pass/fail criteria, trace reviews, regression testing, and production monitoring.
  • Collaborate with identity, security, and platform teams to ensure agentic actions follow proper authentication, authorization, permissions, auditability, privacy, and compliance controls.
  • Drive a developer-centric approach for Agentic AI platform services by improving discoverability, documentation, onboarding, usability, and adoption for internal product and engineering teams.
  • Use AI-powered tools in your own product workflow to improve discovery, analysis, documentation, prioritization, decision-making, and execution.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, gather requirements, manage trade-offs, and ensure successful adoption of AI platform capabilities.
  • Drive KPIs that reflect real-world AI and platform impact, including adoption, task completion, answer quality, automation success, deflection, operational efficiency, satisfaction, and reliability.

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

  • AI Quality and Governance: Familiarity with AI evaluation methods such as golden datasets, test suites, trace analysis, human review, LLM-as-a-judge, regression testing, and production monitoring. Strong awareness of AI risks around accuracy, privacy, security, explainability, permissions, and compliance.
  • Technical Depth: Deep familiarity with cloud platforms, SaaS business models, microservices, serverless computing, event-driven architectures, API-first design, data integrations, and modern enterprise architecture. Ability to translate technical possibilities into product outcomes.

DIRECTOR, SOLUTION ENGINEERING – US CORPORATE

ROLE SUMMARY

Our mission at HubSpot is to help millions of organizations grow better. You’ll translate PreSales strategy into operational execution, build a culture of technical excellence and customer obsession, and lead the transformation of how the SE role operates in an AI-native GTM world. The ideal candidate is a battle-tested second-line leader who knows what great PreSales motion looks like at scale and brings the organizational muscle to direct a multi-team function through change and complexity.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  2. Translate top-down PreSales functional objectives into clear operational plans, directing work through your managers and holding them accountable to outcomes.
  3. Design and execute go-to-market strategies that improve technical win rates, pipeline velocity, and deal quality across the Corporate segment in partnership with Sales leadership.
  4. Define and continuously evolve the SE playbook for Corporate — including discovery frameworks, technical evaluation strategy, demo excellence, POC/POV execution, and SE-to-AE coverage models.
  5. Champion AI fluency across the organization: model AI use personally, embed AI tools and workflows into how the team operates, and lead the ongoing reimagination of what the SE role looks like in an AI-native GTM motion — not just doing existing work faster, but rethinking where SEs create irreplaceable value.
  6. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Finance to align on growth priorities, influence roadmap decisions, and deliver a unified experience for prospects and customers.
  7. Leverage data, KPIs, and performance metrics to identify trends, optimize team structure and capacity, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
  8. Hire and develop diverse, high-caliber talent — building a scalable, future-ready PreSales organization with a clear succession pipeline at every level of the team.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE

  • 4+ years of second-line management experience leading PreSales or Solutions Engineering teams in a high-growth SaaS or platform environment, with deep expertise in Corporate and/or Enterprise B2B segments.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving AI adoption across a PreSales or Sales organization: using AI tools in your own work, equipping your team to do the same, and evolving how SEs approach the craft itself.
  • Experience building and optimizing go-to-market strategies in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong data-driven mindset with a track record of using metrics to inform strategy and drive outcomes.

LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES

  • Inspire & Influence: Leads through influence, co-creates meaning and purpose with direct reports and across matrix organizations. Inspires others to demonstrate HubSpot’s values and works together to create a passionate, diverse, high-performing culture.

A proven ability to think strategically with a customer-first mindset and collaborate with leadership to define and implement successful PreSales programs.
  • Lead Innovation: Experiments, collaborates, and drives innovation — including AI transformation — with a passion for delivering remarkable experiences for Corporate customers. Engineering manager leads a software development team, mentors engineers, partners with product and design, and drives AI-native development practices across a consumer-facing automotive platform.

Lead Posted about 3 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Who we are

At CarGurus (NASDAQ: CARG), our mission is to give people the power to reach their destination. We started as a small team of developers determined to bring trust and transparency to car shopping. Since then, our history of innovation and go-to-market acceleration has driven industry-leading growth. In fact, we’re the largest and fastest-growing automotive marketplace, and we’ve been profitable for over 15 years.

What we do

The market is evolving, and we are too, moving the entire automotive journey online and guiding our customers through every step. That includes everything from the sale of an old car to the financing, purchase, and delivery of a new one. Today, tens of millions of consumers visit CarGurus.com each month, and ~30,000 dealerships use our products. But they’re not the only ones who love CarGurus—our employees do, too. We have a people-first culture that fosters kindness, collaboration, and innovation, and empowers our Gurus with tools to fuel their career growth. Disrupting a trillion-dollar industry requires fresh and diverse perspectives. Come join us for the ride!

Role overview

CarGurus is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Purchase team within our Consumer Engineering department. The Purchase team owns the consumer journey from the moment a shopper decides on a car to the moment the deal is done. That means delivering an experience that meets consumers where they are—whether they want agents to handle the heavy lifting on their behalf, or prefer to be guided through each step of financing, trade-in, and deal configuration themselves.

This is a pivotal leadership role at an exciting moment: we are actively transitioning our engineering practices toward AI-native and fully agentic development, and this manager will be a key driver of that transformation. You’ll lead a team of talented engineers, shape the technical vision for one of our most strategically important product areas, and champion AI-forward ways of working—from integrating AI coding assistants into daily workflows to architecting intelligent, consumer-facing experiences. If you’re energized by the intersection of modern AI development and high-impact consumer products, this is the role for you.

What you’ll do

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, supporting their technical development and career growth while fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture
  • Partner closely with Product, UX, and Analytics to drive the Purchase roadmap from concept through technical design, implementation, testing, and measurement; actively contribute to roadmap prioritization by proposing technical investments and providing well-reasoned estimates
  • Champion AI-forward engineering practices across the team—actively promoting the use of AI coding assistants, agentic workflows, and AI-driven tooling as core parts of the development process
  • Lead the team’s transition to fully agentic programming paradigms, setting expectations, removing blockers, and modeling the mindset shift required
  • Define and drive delivery of consumer-facing AI experiences, collaborating with product and design to bring intelligent, personalized features to millions of car shoppers
  • Manage project scope, estimation, and prioritization; decompose complex initiatives into small, self-contained units of work and drive their incremental delivery with a bias toward shipping and learning quickly
  • Collaborate effectively across team boundaries—working with consumer, dealer, and platform engineering teams to align on dependencies, define integration requirements, and ensure the Purchase platform evolves reliably alongside the broader CarGurus ecosystem
  • Roll up your sleeves and pitch in wherever you’ll have the greatest impact—whether that’s diving into a technical design session, helping scope an A/B test, unblocking a critical dependency, or jumping into any other area where your involvement moves the team forward
  • Advocate for engineering excellence—code quality, observability, system reliability, and continuous improvement in process and tooling
  • Have fun!

What you’ll bring

  • 7+ years of relevant engineering experience, with 3+ years in an engineering management or technical lead role
  • Solid backend engineering foundation—comfortable engaging deeply in architectural discussions, system design, and technical trade-offs, particularly in Java/Spring environments, distributed systems, and data layer design
  • Genuine enthusiasm for AI and agentic development: you believe AI coding tools and multi-agent workflows are the future of software engineering, and you lead by example in adopting them—set a vision for AI-native development practices and guide engineers through the cultural and technical shift
  • Experience delivering consumer-facing AI features or products; experience with conversational or agentic AI experiences is a strong plus
  • Customer and product-focused mindset with a bias toward data-driven decisions, and a track record of shipping high-quality, user-centric features at scale
  • Strong project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies; able to drive clarity and incremental progress in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and help them grow technically and professionally
  • Strong communicator and collaborator who builds trust across engineering, product, and design
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Curious, empathetic, and plays well with others—with a commitment to continuous learning and expanding your capabilities

The displayed range represents the expected annual base salary / On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position. On-Target Earnings (OTE) is inclusive of base salary and on-target commission earnings, which applies exclusively to sales roles.

Individual pay within this range is determined by work location and other factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This annual base salary forms part of a comprehensive Total Rewards Package. In addition to benefits, this role may qualify for discretionary bonuses/incentives and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Engineer Principal Front-End Engineer Web Platform at Canva

Principal front-end engineer leads web platform architecture and performance optimization for Canva's browser-based product, focusing on server-side rendering and modern React patterns.

Lead Hybrid Posted about 3 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Job Description

Join the team powering the foundation of Canva’s world-class user experience.

Hey, g’day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time-consuming, and you’re probably keen to find out what’s on offer, so we’ll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work:

Our flagship Sydney campus is uniquely Canva - an extension of our Surry Hills neighbourhood. It’s a thoughtfully designed space with plenty of room to collaborate, focus, and connect.

This role is based in Sydney, and we’re looking for someone who calls it home. Our hybrid way of working gives you the flexibility to work remotely, and to come together on campus for meaningful in-person collaboration and connection when it matters most. We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

What you’d be doing in this role:

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that’s all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you’ll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

Web Platform owns how Canva loads, renders, and runs in the browser. Every product team at Canva builds on top of what this group ships. Every user who opens canva.com sees the work of this team in the first few hundred milliseconds of their experience. Our ambition is to load the first page in under two seconds, and we’re not there yet. Getting there is one of the most interesting frontend engineering problems in the company.

The strategic bet is rebuilding how the web product is served. Server-side rendering. React Server Components. Reducing round trips between the client and the backend. A modern offline strategy that loads a minimal editor when the network drops. The kind of frontend architecture that takes a mature, complex product and makes it feel instant on every device a user might pick up.

There’s a second reason this work matters now. As Canva scales toward a billion monthly active users, performance becomes a defining property of the product. The architecture decisions made in this role will outlast most of the systems built on top of them.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Owning the technical direction for the web platform: Set the architecture for SSR, React Server Components, and the shape of how pages get assembled and served. Define what good looks like and bring the rest of the frontend specialty with you.

  • Performance at Canva scale: Drive the path to sub-two-second first page load. Build the measurement, the observability, and the engineering discipline that makes performance a property of the platform, not a quarterly project.

  • Influencing the broader frontend specialty: This work touches every frontend engineer at Canva. You’ll be defining the patterns the frontend specialty adopts, authoring design documents, working prototypes and migration guides that make the new architecture the obvious default. You’ll work across product orgs to shape how teams organically transition to modern frontend practices, with the credibility to bring people along rather than mandating change.

  • Leading with code, not whiteboards: Canva doesn’t have an architecture function — Principal engineers stay hands-on. You won’t ship every line, but you’ll live in the code and push commits.

  • Owning the offline and resilience story: What happens when the network drops, the device is slow, or the user is on the other side of the world. Define how the product responds gracefully across the full range of real conditions.

  • Sparring with strong peers: You’ll join a small group of Principal and Staff engineers shaping how Canva’s frontend works. The bar is high. The work compounds.

  • Influential Individual Contributor: No direct reports. But every Staff engineer in Web Platform routes their architectural decisions through you. How you operate sets the standard others reach for.

  • What success looks like. First page load times reach the bar across every device and every geography users open Canva from. Performance is a property of the platform that holds even as the product grows, not a number we chase in quarterly cycles. The patterns set by this role are adopted across the frontend specialty as the default way to build.

You’re probably a match

We’d love to hear from you if you fit one or more of these. You don’t need to meet all of them, but the more the better — and if you join the team, we’re invested in helping you grow.

  • React at depth: Not just a user of React, you understand how React is built. Reconciliation, rendering, the server component model, the hooks model. You’ve shaped React decisions at scale, ideally with open-source contributions or production work that pushed the framework’s limits.

  • Performance at scale: Driven measurable performance gains on a complex, mature web product. You know how to measure what matters and how to filter the noise. Bonus if you’ve shipped server-side rendering or React Server Components in production.

  • Principal altitude: You’ve owned problems where the right answer didn’t exist when you started. You found it through prototyping and measurement, not a design doc written upfront.

  • Org-wide influence: You’ve shipped something foundational on a mature product - a bundler migration, an SSR rollout, a rendering model shift - without disrupting the teams building on top of the platform. You cut through the noise and bring a large number of leaders to consensus on a clear and compelling technical direction.

  • Active individual contribution: You’re still writing and committing code on a day-to-day basis.

  • AI fluency: Used agentic orchestration in real work. Have a view on what changes for frontend engineering when AI is a daily part of the workflow.

Technical knowledge

  • React internals: Reconciliation, the rendering model, server components, suspense

  • TypeScript depth: Production-grade fluency, not surface familiarity

  • SSR and RSC: Server-side rendering and React Server Components in production

  • Frontend-backend communication: How pages get served, how requests get batched, where the round trips live

  • Performance measurement: Real User Monitoring, synthetic testing, the metrics that matter

  • Offline resilience: Progressive enhancement strategies for complex web applications

  • Deep fundamentals: Engineering fundamentals from a CS background, including data structures, complexity, the hard parts

Nice to have

  • Open-source contributions: React, Next.js, or the broader frontend ecosystem

  • Live migrations: Experience evolving a complex frontend product without disrupting the teams building on top of it

  • Edge runtimes: Cloudflare Workers, Fastly, or equivalent

  • Backend partnership: Cross-functional work with backend platform teams on the request/response contract

About the Group

This role sits in the Client Platform Group, where our mission is to ensure a delightful experience for every user on every device. Client Platform owns the foundations that every product team builds on, including Web Platform, Mobile Platform, and the user-facing surfaces of the product. Hundreds of millions of users sit on top of what this group ships. Every Canva product runs on it.

What’s in it for you?

Achieving our crazy big goals motivates us to work hard — and we do — but you’ll also enjoy moments of magic, connection, and fun throughout life at Canva. We offer:

  • Equity packages — we want our success to be yours too

Director of Engineering leads a team of engineers building and scaling the AXS Marketplace platform that powers fan ticket resale and purchasing.

Lead Posted about 3 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

AXS connects fans with the artists and teams they love. Each year we sell millions of tickets to thousands of incredible events, from concerts and festivals to sports and theater, at some of the most iconic venues in the world. Since our founding in 2011, we’ve consistently pushed the industry forward and improved experiences for fans, making it easier than ever to discover events, find the perfect seats, and enjoy unforgettable live entertainment. We continue to lead the evolution of our industry today, and we’re proud to be powering ticket sales for the LA28 Olympic Games, one of the largest live-events undertakings in the world.

We’re passionate about improving the fan experience and providing game-changing solutions for our clients, and we’re always looking for smart, motivated people to help make it happen. Bring your enthusiasm, your big ideas, and your desire to team up with some of the best and brightest in technology and entertainment.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Director of Engineering to lead and grow the team behind the AXS Marketplace, our third-party resale integration that gives fans the ability to purchase inventory for any event they’re interested in. The Marketplace sits at the center of how fans find and secure seats, and its reach, reliability, and performance directly shape one of the most important moments in the fan journey.

You’ll lead a team of highly competent engineers and own the development efforts that power the underlying technology that supports the Marketplace. You’ll partner closely with your product counterpart to shape both the direction of the product and the underlying technology that makes it possible; sequencing the work, derisking the hard problems, and making the architectural calls that serve fans and clients at scale. This is a high-growth, fast-paced charter: the demands on the platform are growing quickly, and your job is to build the team and the systems to stay ahead of that demand.

Just as importantly, you’ll grow the people under you — developing engineers and emerging leaders so the team’s bench deepens as the charter expands.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of high-caliber engineers: owning hiring, the development of your people, and a culture where strong engineers do their best work and stay
  • Own the development efforts behind the AXS Marketplace, our third-party resale integration that lets fans purchase inventory for the events they care about
  • Partner deeply with your product counterpart to shape the direction of the product and the underlying technology, from roadmap through architecture
  • Set technical direction and bring clarity to a fast-moving, high-growth charter: sequencing the work and derisking large initiatives
  • Scale the platform to meet rapidly growing demand while holding a high bar on reliability, performance, and quality
  • Make sound architectural decisions across a broad surface and keep the team aligned as priorities shift
  • Grow the next layer of engineering leadership by developing engineers and senior ICs so the team can take on more

You may be a good fit if you

  • Have 5+ years of technical and management leadership experience
  • Have 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and building software platforms
  • Have experience coding in .NET or Node.js
  • Have worked in a continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) environment
  • Have experience working with and deploying to cloud environments
  • Have experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools and best practices
  • Hold a BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Communicate clearly, build trust with product and cross-functional partners, and keep stakeholders aligned through ambiguity

Strong candidates may also have experience with

  • Containers and container orchestration
  • AWS or comparable cloud-native architecture at scale
  • Marketplace, payments, or third-party integration systems
  • High-throughput, high-availability consumer-facing platforms

Operations Director, Infrastructure & SRE at TailorCare

Director leads infrastructure, SRE, reliability, and security operations; writes Terraform, manages incidents, and builds the SRE team while maintaining hands-on technical work.

Lead Posted about 3 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About the Role

The Director of Infrastructure & SRE owns the function end-to-end: reliability, security, scalability, and operational governance of TailorCare’s infrastructure, plus the team that delivers it. You will be a peer to the Director of Software Engineering, Director of Data Engineering, and Director of Data Science, own the Infrastructure & SRE scorecard in front of the executive team, and lead vendor escalations with Salesforce, AWS, and Cresta, among others, at the Director level.

This is a player-coach role. In year one you will spend roughly 60% of your time hands-on (writing Terraform, leading incidents, doing architecture work) and 40% building the team and the practice. As the team scales, that ratio shifts toward leadership, but you will never stop being technical.

This is not a slideware role. We are not hiring a manager who reviews architecture diagrams from a distance. We are hiring an operator who codes, runs incidents, owns the platform, and ships

Primary Responsibilities

Infrastructure as Code

  • Converge all AWS resources to Terraform; eliminate manual provisioning
  • Establish reproducible environments (dev, staging, production) with proper isolation and parity
  • Standardize CI/CD pipelines across all engineering teams

Site Reliability

  • Define and operate SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets for all production systems (web/mobile applications, Salesforce, data processing, telephony stack)
  • Build observability (metrics, logs, traces, alerting) across AWS, Salesforce, telephony/omni-channel, and Cresta integrations
  • Stand up the infrastructure on-call rotation, incident management, and post-incident review discipline, including RCAs
  • Own uptime, MTTR, and incident-volume trends as published metrics

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

  • Design and implement a tested DR strategy with documented RPO/RTO commitments
  • Validate recovery procedures on a recurring cadence
  • Align DR posture with HITRUST and HIPAA expectations

Integration Reliability

  • Stabilize Salesforce, telephony/omni-channel, and Cresta integrations; close persistent gaps in skills-based routing, warm transfers, and telephony data parity
  • Partner with Data Engineering on the reliability of data ingest paths (Fivetran, SFTP, S3) and Salesforce bulk API flows.

Security & Compliance Engineering

  • Translate Security & Compliance policy into enforced infrastructure controls: IAM, encryption (at rest and in transit), network segmentation, secrets management, audit logging
  • Partner with Security & Compliance on HITRUST evidence, audit readiness, and remediation
  • Own vulnerability management across cloud and application layers

Email & Domain Infrastructure

  • Fix DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and IP reputation to resolve spam-folder deliverability impacting patient and operational communications
  • Own all TailorCare domain and email infrastructure

Developer Experience

  • Build and maintain test, staging, and ephemeral environments engineers actually use
  • Reduce cycle time and remove infrastructure friction from the SDLC
  • Establish self-service tooling so engineers ship without filing tickets

Team & Function Leadership

  • Hire, level, develop, and retain the Infrastructure & SRE team
  • Own the function’s MBR contribution: scorecard, risks, decisions needed
  • Partner with Engineering, Data, Product, and Security & Compliance leadership as a peer

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in Infrastructure Engineering, SRE, or DevOps, with 3+ years in a senior IC or tech lead role and 2+ years directly managing engineers
  • Recent hands-on technical work (within the last 12 to 18 months) in Terraform, AWS, and production incident response
  • Track record of hiring, leveling, and developing infrastructure or SRE engineers
  • Deep AWS expertise (VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, WAF, Connect)
  • Production Terraform experience at scale (modules, state management, multi-environment)
  • Hands-on with observability stacks (CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, or equivalents)
  • Demonstrated experience standing up SRE practices: SLOs, on-call, incident management, blameless postmortems
  • Experience operating in a HIPAA or comparably regulated environment (PCI, SOC 2 Type II, HITRUST, FedRAMP)
  • CI/CD pipeline design (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent)
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% as needed for onsite meetings, team collaboration, and company events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce platform integration and operational experience
  • Amazon Connect or comparable contact center telephony platforms
  • Data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Fivetran)
  • HITRUST certification participation (e1 or r2)
  • AI/LLM-assisted operations tooling
  • Experience scaling an infrastructure function in a healthcare or other regulated growth-stage company

Who You Are

  • You own outcomes. When something breaks, you fix it and improve the system so it does not happen again.
  • You write code and ship infrastructure. You lead by doing, not by delegating.
  • You surface risks early. Bad news early is manageable; bad news late is expensive.
  • You build for clarity and simplicity. You distrust complexity that does not earn its keep.
  • You bring calm to incidents and discipline to operations.
  • You grow engineers. You hire well, develop your team, and create the kind of operating environment where senior people want to work.
  • You communicate with executives the way they want to be communicated with: concise, structured, honest, low-drama.

What you will deliver in year one

  • This role is explicitly hands-on. In year one:
  • You will personally write production Terraform and review infrastructure pull requests
  • You will influence product and engineering roadmaps in order to achieve the operational standards expected of the organization and our clients
  • You will participate in the infrastructure on-call rotation while it is being built
  • You will lead incidents until the team and process are mature enough to do so without you
  • You will pair directly with engineers on critical migrations

What’s In It For You

  • Meaningful Work: We are dedicated to our mission and deeply value our patients and each other. Each day offers the opportunity to make a positive impact.
  • Work Environment: We operate as a remote-first company with options for a hybrid work model in Nashville.
  • Time Off: Our generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday plans ensure you have ample time to rest and recharge.
  • Family First: We offer paid parental leave and support a healthy work-life balance, encouraging flexibility and autonomy. We love talking about our family and pets!
  • Comprehensive Benefits: From Day 1, employees enjoy medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, wellness resources and an employer HSA contribution.
  • Fair Compensation: We are committed to equitable pay for all team members and support your future goals with a 401k plan that includes employer matching.
  • Community: We foster an inclusive environment where you can rely on your teammates, share honest feedback, and feel comfortable being your authentic self at work each day.

TailorCare seeks to recruit and retain staff from diverse backgrounds and encourages qualified candidates to apply. TailorCare is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, sex, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, color, race, creed, national origin, ancestry, religion, marital status, political belief, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, military, or veteran status.

  • Drive Results: Drives execution and builds the necessary capability to succeed. Initiates action and commits to achieving business outcomes by taking accountability for goals.
Doesn’t just execute existing playbooks; actively reimagines how the SE function operates in an evolving GTM landscape.

Operations Director, Infrastructure & SRE at TailorCare

Director leads infrastructure, site reliability, disaster recovery, and security operations while maintaining hands-on technical contributions in Terraform, incident management, and platform architecture.

Engineer LawnStarter: Staff Software Engineer, Product

Staff Software Engineer directs AI coding agents to implement features across the full product lifecycle while owning technical decisions and shipping to production.

Lead Posted about 7 hours ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: São Paulo, Brazil
URL: http://lawnstarter.com

About LawnStarter

LawnStarter is the nation's leading on-demand marketplace for lawn care and outdoor services, with over $100M in annual bookings. We're expanding beyond lawn care to become the one-stop shop for all home services — operating across three brands (LawnStarter, Lawn Love, Home Gnome) on a single shared platform.

About Engineering at LawnStarter

We build in small, focused initiative teams: a Product Engineer working alongside a PM and a designer, supported by an Engineering Manager who helps you grow. You'll also work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering peers across initiatives in a shared codebase. The whole team owns whether the work moves its metric.

AI coding agents are a force multiplier here — they give a small, senior team the leverage to ship more, faster, and at a higher bar for quality. We hire engineers who are wired for ownership and energized by shipping to a real marketplace with customers and pros on both sides.

The Role

You're the engineering anchor of an initiative — working as part of a tight team with your PM and designer, and alongside engineering peers on adjacent initiatives. You have a hand in the full lifecycle: shaping the problem, deciding the technical approach, directing AI agents to implement much of the code, shipping to production, and — with your team — owning the outcome.

You're measured by impact, not by lines of code merged. When an agent can ship something safely, your job is to make sure it's done right and the metric moves. When the work calls for careful, hand-written code in a sensitive area, you write it yourself.

What makes this role exciting:

  • You ship end-to-end. From problem-framing through production to the post-launch metric review — you see the whole arc and own the result with your team.
  • You work as a true product partner. You sit at the table with PM and design, bringing engineering judgment to product calls and product sense to engineering calls.
  • You get real autonomy — with the right checkpoints. You make most technical calls yourself, with architect review on significant architectural decisions and fast input from peers.
  • You operate at a staff bar. You're trusted to make the call, ship the hard thing, and stand behind the outcome.

What You'll Own

  • The technical approach — architecture, data model, integration choices, rollout plan, observability, and rollback strategy for your initiative. You make most calls yourself and bring significant architectural decisions to architect review; you document them, and revisit if the data says you were wrong.
  • Implementation quality — the prompts, guardrails, evals, tests, and review loop that let agents ship safe, correct, production-ready code. Most lines will be agent-authored, and you're accountable for them — held to the same standard as the rest of the team working in a shared codebase.
  • Cross-functional partnership — daily working contact with your PM (scope, tradeoffs) and designer (UX decisions, in-tool prototyping), regular collaboration with engineering peers, and weekly check-ins with your EM.
  • The initiative outcome — the metric the initiative was set up to move. With your PM, you present results 2-4 weeks post-launch and share the "did it work" answer.
  • A high bar for what ships — production correctness, security, performance, observability, and the experience for customers and pros. Agents accelerate you; they don't lower the bar.

Problems to Solve

Leading AI agents at a staff-level quality bar Most of the code on your initiative will be authored by AI agents. The craft is making them ship as if a senior engineer wrote it: prompts that encode our conventions, evals that catch issues before merge, tests that exercise the edges, observability that catches a regression before a customer does. How do you build a workflow that lets a small team ship far more than its size would suggest?

Owning decisions with high autonomy You have real latitude to make and document technical calls quickly — with architect review on the big architectural ones and peers to pressure-test your thinking. How do you move fast, keep your team aligned, and stay accountable to the outcome?

Shipping outcomes, not features Each initiative is measured by a metric — a conversion rate, a retention curve, a pro-funnel KPI, a unit-economics shift. You're accountable for the number alongside your team. How do you scope to actually move it, decide what *not* to build, and have the discipline to follow up 2-4 weeks after launch?

What Success Looks Like (Year 1)

  • Initiative outcomes hit — You've shipped 3-4 initiatives end-to-end, and at least two clearly moved their metric (with the post-launch review to prove it).
  • Agent workflow that travels — The prompts, evals, and review loop you built are picked up by peers on other initiatives.
  • Faster cycle time — Median time from problem-framing to first production rollout on your initiatives is meaningfully shorter.
  • Quality holds — No customer- or pro-facing regression traceable to agent-authored code that slipped through your review.
  • Visible leverage — Peers point to artifacts you left behind — runbooks, evals, agent workflows, post-launch write-ups — as references they use.

Requirements

Who You Are

  • AI-native. Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalent are how you ship today — daily, on production work. You have real opinions about prompts, evals, agent loops, and review workflows, and you know when to let the agent run versus write it yourself.
  • Operating at a lead level. Whatever your current title, you've been the person making the call, shipping the hard thing, and standing behind whether it worked.
  • Outcome-driven. You measure your week in "did the metric move" and "did the experience get better." You read the post-launch dashboard and own the answer.
  • A strong horizontal partner. You hold your own with a strong PM and designer, and you collaborate well with engineering peers in a shared codebase. You bring engineering judgment to product calls and product judgment to engineering calls.
  • Decisive and documented. You make architecture, data-model, and rollout calls, write them down, get fast input, and move.
  • A force multiplier. Your impact compounds beyond your own initiative because you leave reusable artifacts behind — agent workflows, evals, runbooks, post-launch reviews.
  • Customer- and pro-minded. This is a real marketplace with real people on both sides, and you care about the outcomes for both.

Good to Know

  • An individual-contributor role with room to grow. People management sits with the EM — but the path into management is an open door for those who want it.
  • A product-engineering role, end-to-end. You ship features that move metrics; platform and architecture work happen inside the initiative when the outcome needs them.
  • Hands-on, with a high quality bar. Agents handle much of the implementation; you bring the judgment, design, safety, and accountability. The bar is high.
  • Shipping to a live marketplace. With $100M+ in bookings, customers and pros use what you ship within the same week.

Tech You'll Touch

  • AI agents — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, internal agent stack, MCP servers, evals tooling
  • Backend — PHP/Laravel
  • Frontend — TypeScript/React/React Native (customer & pro apps, web and mobile)
  • Data — Redshift, dbt, Segment, Airflow
  • Infra — AWS, Datadog, Sentry, GitHub Actions
  • Documentation & process — Brain (Claude Code skills + docs repo), Confluence, Jira

You don't need every box checked. You need deep skill in at least one of our stacks plus credible production experience with AI coding agents.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary of USD $80,000-$100,000 annual base
  • Work from anywhere
  • High ownership and autonomy
  • Fast-moving team that loves to build, learn, and grow
