Data Analytics Head of Fund Analytics & Automation — Credit Fund at Xsolla

Designs and operates the credit fund's data and automation stack, combining SQL/Python engineering with portfolio analytics and underwriting decisions.

Senior Onsite Posted 4 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a Head of Fund Analytics & Automation who is a hands-on builder, rigorous with data, and fluent in finance conversations to join our Credit Fund team in the office of the Chief Credit Officer. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to design, build, and operate the fund’s entire data and automation stack end to end — and then own it as the fund goes live.

The credit fund is being built with a deliberately small team. Instead of hiring several analysts and operations staff, we want one senior technical hire who can do both: engineer the platform and sit across the table from investors and borrowers. Underwriting here is built on real payment telemetry — including Xsolla transaction data — and that data edge is the foundation of this role.

Strong SQL, Python, and production automation skills are essential, along with real experience in portfolio analytics, market risk, or credit. The ability to ship audit-grade systems and then defend the numbers in front of LPs and borrowers will be key to your success in this role. The role starts as a builder and becomes the owner-operator of the platform, with a growing seat in underwriting decisions and, as the platform and deal volume grow, scope to hire and lead a small team.

If you’re passionate about applying AI-governed automation to private credit and love building the systems that let a lean team punch far above its weight, we would love to hear from you!

With more paths to profits and ways to win, developers have all the things needed to enjoy the game.

For more information, visit xsolla.com.

Responsibilities

First 6 months — priorities in order

- Deal pipeline live: origination intake through credit committee, with the full audit trail. - Scoring data layer: borrower financials and payment telemetry ingested, stored, and under documented data contracts. - LP / fundraising pipeline instrumented, and first investor reporting shipped.

Explicitly out of scope: legal documentation, fund administration, and accounting — these sit with external providers.

Phase 1: Build (through first close)

Deal pipeline management

- Design and run the full deal workflow: origination intake, screening, scoring, credit committee, closing.

- Implement it as governed automation (workflow orchestration such as n8n or similar, with LLM-assisted steps where they add value): every automated output validated against a defined schema, low-confidence results routed to human review, and a complete audit trail suitable for LP due diligence.

Scoring and underwriting data layer

- Build the ingestion and storage layer for borrower financials and payments telemetry (including Xsolla transaction data) — PostgreSQL or equivalent, ETL pipelines, materialized views, documented data contracts.

- Develop credit scoring and forecasting models in Python, with proper train/test discipline, leakage and PII exclusion, and ongoing monitoring for drift and degradation.

- Maintain evaluation and regression checks so model and automation quality is measured continuously, not assumed.

Fundraising / LP pipeline

- Build and operate the investor pipeline: CRM automation, conference and referral pipeline tracking, follow-up orchestration, and data room preparation and upkeep.

- Instrument the pipeline so we always know conversion rates, stage aging, and next actions per LP.

Investor and borrower dashboards

- Ship reporting for both audiences: fund-level metrics for investors, facility-level metrics for borrowers.

- Numbers must reconcile to source systems and be reproducible outside the BI tool — audit-grade, not demo-grade. Tableau / Power BI or a lightweight web dashboard, whichever fits.

Reliability, cost, and security of the stack

- Budget caps and cost monitoring on all AI-assisted automation; regression canaries before changes ship.

- Access control and data protection appropriate for fund data: deny-by-default permissions, audit logs, strict handling of LP identities, borrower financials, and deal terms.

- Documented runbooks and handover-ready documentation as part of “done” — the stack must be operable by someone other than its author.

Phase 2: Operate (post-close)

- Move into an operating role on the underwriting side: portfolio monitoring, covenant and collateral tracking, scenario and stress analysis.

- Extend the platform to other investment types and support the capital formation team with the same pipeline and reporting infrastructure.

Client and investor facing

This is not a back-office role. The person will join investor and borrower meetings, present the dashboards and the numbers behind them, and field diligence questions directly. Fluency in finance conversations is as important as engineering. The person will also respond to LP operational due diligence questionnaires on the data and automation stack.

Qualifications and Skills

Required

- 7+ years across data analytics / data engineering, including recent hands-on experience building and running production automation (not prototypes or notebooks).

- Proven production experience with LLM-based automation: schema-validated outputs, human review gates, evaluation and regression testing, cost-tiered model routing.

- Strong SQL and Python; ownership of a PostgreSQL (or similar) data platform end to end — ETL, materialized views, performance tuning, data contracts.

- Workflow orchestration experience (n8n, Airflow, or comparable).

- BI and dashboarding: Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or equivalent web dashboards; a track record of reporting that executives actually used for decisions.

- Security discipline for sensitive data: role-based access, deny-by-default policies, audit trails, PII handling.

- Finance background: degree in finance or quantitative field plus real experience in portfolio analytics, market risk, or credit — able to hold their own in an underwriting or investor conversation.

- Strong written and spoken English; comfortable presenting to senior external audiences.

Preferred

- Direct exposure to private credit, lending, or fund operations.

- Forecasting and statistical modeling track record (capacity planning, SLA/risk forecasting, or similar).

- Experience with embeddings / semantic search and multi-model AI setups.

- Web development ability (React / TypeScript or similar) for internal tools and dashboards.

- Experience in audited or regulated environments (SOC 2, fund audits, or equivalent).

Benefits

We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families through a comprehensive Benefits Program. This includes 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision plans, unlimited Flexible Time Off, and a personalized career roadmap for each employee. Together, we’re not just building a business; we’re cultivating a community that values creativity, collaboration, and the transformative power of play.

Data Analytics Senior Data Scientist at Taboola

Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for recommendation and ranking algorithms serving 600M+ daily users, with end-to-end ownership from prototyping to production maintenance.

Senior Onsite Posted 11 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Realize your potential by joining the leading performance-driven advertising company and a proud Great Place to Work® Certified employer in the US

As a Data Scientist on Taboola’s R&D Team in Downtown Los Angeles, utilizing some of the latest technology and tools, you will work on the recommendation and ranking algorithms that drive Realize — Taboola’s performance advertising platform serving 600M+ daily active users  —  and building agentic AI systems alongside it.

The models you build directly influence campaign performance and revenue outcomes for advertisers worldwide.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D, ideally in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computational Economics, or similar
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python and Java
  • Proficiency with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Tensorflow, Spark MLlib)
  • SQL proficiency for data exploration and analysis
  • System-architecture mindset — ability to design scalable, reliable, high-performance systems and reason about how a model fits into the larger data and serving infrastructure.
  • Experience taking end-to-end ownership of ML systems: design, build, ship, measure, and maintain —  using AI-assisted “vibe coding” tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot).
  • Experience building automated evaluation harnesses and test frameworks for ML systems — defining benchmarks, baselines, and guardrails that let a team ship confidently and repeatedly
  • Ability to communicate technical findings clearly, and to collaborate effectively across teams (including early morning or evening syncs with our Tel Aviv team)

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with recommendation systems, ranking algorithms, or personalization at scale
  • Familiarity with real-time ML and large-scale data mining

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Design and build predictive customer behavior models for targeting and personalization
  • Implement the applicable Machine Learning or statistics based algorithm for prediction and optimization and deliver the trained model to production
  • Take end-to-end ownership: design, build, ship, measure, and maintain models and the services around them—rapidly prototyping and delivering complete projects/products using AI-assisted “vibe coding” workflows.
  • Act as a Harness Engineer: build the evaluation harnesses, automated testing frameworks, benchmarks, and guardrails that let the team experiment, measure model quality, and ship AI/ML systems safely and repeatedly, following a TDD process.
  • Present findings to the product team and technical team leads in a clear and actionable way.
  • Build and maintain code to populate HDFS, Hadoop with log from Kafka or data loaded from SQL production systems
  • Design, build and support algorithms of data transformation, conversion, computation on Hadoop, Spark and other distributed Big Data Systems

If you ask Taboolars what they love about working here, they’ll tell you that they’ve been empowered to realize their full potential while growing and learning from and with smart and talented people. They’ll also share more about:

Engineer Senior Systems Engineer - Go-To-Market Data Team at Cloudflare

Senior systems engineer owns the end-to-end software and data products that power the go-to-market sales motion, including data infrastructure and foundational systems.

Senior Onsite Posted 13 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Us

At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers millions of websites and other Internet properties for customers ranging from individual bloggers to SMBs to Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare all have web traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with every request. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. Cloudflare was named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures list and ranked among the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company.

At Cloudflare, we’re not looking for people who wait for a polished roadmap; we’re looking for the builders who see the cracks in the Internet that everyone else has simply learned to live with. We value candidates who have the instinct to spot a “normalized” problem and the AI-native curiosity to create a solution using the latest tools. Our culture is built on iteration, leveraging AI to ship faster today to make it better tomorrow, while ensuring that every improvement, no matter how small, is shared across the team to lift everyone up. If you’re the type of person who values curiosity over bureaucracy, and that AI is a partner in solving tough problems to keep the Internet moving forward, you’ll fit right in.

Available Locations: Austin, Texas

About the role

Created in January 2025, our centralized Developer Go-to-Market (GTM) organization functions as a “speedboat” to maintain focus, control direction, and iterate quickly. Our mission is to build long-term relationships with developers by addressing their unique needs and challenges with specialized attention and resources.

Our team operates across four core pillars: Marketing, Developer Relations, Growth Programs, and Sales. These functions work in close collaboration to support customers throughout their journey, from raising awareness and inspiring new use cases to driving platform adoption, consumption, and scaling customer relationships. Each function amplifies the impact of the others through strategic partnerships and shared insights.

What you’ll do

You’ll own the GTM-facing software and data products our sales motion runs on, end to end. That includes the data foundation underneath it and the signals that flag which accounts a rep should act on and when. You’ll also lead our hardest cross-functional projects, the ones that span many teams and systems. You’ll drive them to delivery, keep partner teams on track, and do it with a lot of autonomy.

Day to day you’ll improve how we visualize pipeline, build sales tools that flag the right moment to reach out to a customer, and make the developer buying journey smoother. The work is a mix of data engineering, full-stack product, and applied AI, and you’ll build it on Cloudflare’s own developer platform.

This role fits someone who works well in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, likes turning messy business problems into working software, and can juggle several priorities at once.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement features in a Golang, Typescript and SQL.
  • Build and operate production services on Cloudflare Workers and Kubernetes.
  • Own the data foundation including Query Engine, Workflows, MCP/APIs and other internal facing products and services.
  • Own projects end to end; from design docs and schema changes through implementation, testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
  • Participate in on call rotations, drive incident resolution, and write postmortems that improve reliability.
  • Use AI tools extensively to accelerate development, debugging, and operational tasks. We expect engineers to leverage AI as a core part of their workflow.
  • Collaborate across teams to coordinate capacity planning, API contracts, and cross cutting initiatives.
  • Embed with Sales, Marketing, Developer Relations (DevRel), and Growth to turn fuzzy operational pain into shipped software.
  • Help set the standard for GTM engineering organization wide.

Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with a demonstrated history of leading complex, organization-wide data initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in building distributed systems and production infrastructure at scale, with proficiency in Go and strong working knowledge of TypeScript.
  • Exceptional ability to navigate ambiguous problem spaces, identify the highest-impact technical work, and drive projects autonomously from conception through adoption—balancing pragmatic execution with long-term technical excellence.
  • Deep analytical SQL and data modeling experience. Proven ability to manage complexity even at thousands of tables.
  • Able to debug database and query performance issues using profiling tools and source code where applicable.
  • Please be prepared to discuss specific examples of organization-wide technical initiatives you’ve led, particularly distributed systems or data infrastructure and their measurable business impact.

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience as a Principal Engineer, Staff+ engineer, or technical leader on platform, infrastructure, or task force teams that operate outside traditional product roadmaps with a focus on enabling GTM organizations.
  • Columnar/OLAP or lakehouse experience (ClickHouse, DuckDB, BigQuery, Snowflake, Iceberg, Starrocks).Familiarity with the Salesforce data model and CRM/API integrations.
  • Familiarity with deploying to bare metal and Kubernetes.
  • Experience on Cloudflare Workers / edge platforms and analytics-engineering (dbt) workflows.
  • Background in SaaS or product-led growth (PLG) GTM motions.

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

We will continue to abide by our privacy commitment and ensure that no user data is sold to advertisers or used to target consumers.

Senior Onsite Posted 15 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Position Summary

Tipalti’s Commercial Legal Team is adding a Senior Commercial Counsel to its Toronto office. You’ll be heavily relied on by a tight, high-autonomy team that treats AI as infrastructure, not novelty. Your practice will span both sides of the commercial deal sheet, and your influence will extend well beyond contract negotiation into how this team operates and evolves.

This role reports to the Director, Commercial, within a team of three. You’ll get structured ramp-up time, the tools and training you need to operate at full speed, and the support to build real confidence in Tipalti’s products, business, and regulatory landscape before we turn up the volume.

Why join Tipalti?

We empower our customers to scale faster and smarter by removing the complexities of doing global business and accelerating their finance operations efficiency. Our platform provides a comprehensive suite of finance automation solutions designed for mid-market businesses across accounts payable, global payouts, procurement, employee expenses, corporate cards, supplier management, tax compliance, and treasury. Our culture ensures everyone checks their egos at the door and stands ready to reach for success together.

Founded in Israel in 2010, Tipalti is a global business headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area (Foster City) with offices in Tel Aviv, Plano, Toronto, Vancouver, London, Amsterdam, Tbilisi and Medellin.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Own the Sales-Side Pipeline. You’ll negotiate and close the Tipalti Services Agreement, along with order forms, schedules, SOWs, partner and alliance agreements, and channel deals. You’ll handle security questionnaire escalations, privacy and DPA negotiations, and commercial and contractual inquiries from sophisticated international buyers, managing each from first markup to signature with minimal oversight.
  • Drive Vendor-Side Contracting. You’ll lead commercial contracting of Tipalti’s vendor engagements, coordinating risk reviews with internal teams. Software agreements are the bread and butter, but you’ll also handle accounting, professional services, marketing, consulting, events, and other operational agreements. You’ll participate in vendor due diligence and the procurement-led intake process while coaching the procurement team and other teams on contracting processes and workflow improvements.
  • Advise the Business Directly. You’ll be a primary commercial legal point of contact for stakeholders across sales, customer success, procurement, finance, marketing, security, and go-to-market teams in every time zone Tipalti operates in. Customer retention, dispute resolution, commercial regulatory and compliance: you’ll field these and drive them to resolution.
  • Shape the Contracting Playbook. You’ll help reengineer how the commercial legal team operates, from templatizing agreements to building AI-powered workflows. Within your first quarter, you’ll own key segments of the contracting pipeline and begin contributing to the team’s AI integration roadmap.
  • Use AI Like a Boss. You’ll calibrate its use to the risk profile and complexity of each matter, applying professional judgment to every output. We need someone who already uses AI, understands its limitations, and knows how to right-size it across contract types.
  • Run Your Own Book. You’ll carry a full portfolio of matters and exercise independent judgment on risk, deal structure, and escalation. You’ll communicate directly with opposing counsel, business leaders, and cross-functional partners, handling matters from intake to close.

About you

  • You hold a common-law law degree (J.D., LL.B., or equivalent) and are in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. We are open to other Canadian jurisdictions or US-qualified counsel.
  • You have 8+ years in commercial technology transactions, ideally with both law firm and in-house software company experience.
  • SaaS agreements, DPAs, NDAs, SOWs, and partner agreements are second nature.
  • You are genuinely enthusiastic about AI tools and legal technology, and your willingness to teach others matches your own skill.
  • You communicate directly and collaboratively, and you’re built for a team that stays tightly connected.
  • Your judgment on sensitive matters is independent, your attention to detail is sharp, and your comfort managing volume in a fast-moving environment is proven.

Our benefits package includes:

  • Hybrid working model that requires you to be in office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
  • Competitive salary and equity
  • Matching RRSP
  • Extended benefits, Employee Assistance Program, life insurance, AD&D, LTD

Operator Mission Engineer - Sarasota at Axon Spain

Embedded engineer who builds and deploys AI agents, workflows, and automations on Axon's platform to solve customer operational problems end-to-end.

Senior Onsite Posted 15 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Join Axon and be a Force for Good.

At Axon, we’re on a mission to Protect Life. We’re explorers, pursuing society’s most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.

Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you’ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.

Your Impact

This isn’t a relationship management role. It’s an ownership role. Sharp. Adaptable. Unstoppable.

You won’t wait to be asked. You’ll identify what’s broken before it becomes a problem, build solutions that didn’t exist yesterday, and earn the kind of trust that makes you indispensable to the agency — and to Axon.

In this embedded role, you are the primary owner of customer outcomes within a strategic account — accountable for the full lifecycle of Axon’s ecosystem. You combine deep technical expertise, builder instinct, operational leadership, and executive presence to help agencies transform how they operate, not just adopt software. You embed for the long haul: opening the laptop onsite, shipping on Axon’s stack, holding the room when it matters, and iterating on what you build until it sticks in production.

Success is measured by the agency’s operational outcomes and working solutions in production — not product health, not activity, not slideware.

What You’ll Do

This role is intentionally undefined in the day-to-day. Priorities shift with agency mission tempo, operational crises, and emerging opportunities. If you need a fixed playbook to succeed, this isn’t the role for you.

Building is the job. You will use Axon’s platform — AI Era, agents, workflows, integrations, and data tools — to design, build, and ship new capabilities on site. You own outcomes end to end across deployment, adoption, optimization, and ongoing success — as the accountable owner, not a coordinator of other teams’ work.

Onsite Building & Platform Delivery

  • Discover agency problems onsite and translate them into buildable, compliant solutions tied to mission outcomes
  • Design and ship working tools on Axon’s platform: AI agents, workflows, automations, integrations, and data pipelines — built and tested with real users and real data
  • Build with Axon products, not around them — configure, integrate, and extend DEMS, Fusus, AI Era, Records, and related systems in the agency environment
  • Iterate in the field until adoption sticks, then document patterns for reuse across accounts
  • Apply responsible innovation guardrails — CJIS, evidence integrity, privacy — in every build. Ship working software, not slideware
  • Troubleshoot onsite and coordinate root-cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services when builds or integrations break

AI Build & Adoption

  • Build and deploy AI-powered workflows (agents, prompts, RAG, evaluations) that solve defined agency problems — not generic experimentation
  • Drive hands-on adoption with the people who use what you build daily
  • Measure whether changes stick — usage, workflow impact, mission outcomes — and iterate when they don’t

Operational Transformation & Leadership

  • Assess workflows onsite, identify friction and mission impact, and define what to build before you build it
  • Move from reactive support to proactive outcome design — arrive with hypotheses, validate with command staff and operators, then build to match
  • Build trusted relationships with agency leadership and operational stakeholders; lead QBRs, mission reviews, and strategic planning
  • Define success metrics and capture baselines before major deployments so impact is proven, not assumed

Field Intelligence & Growth

  • Capture customer insights, workflow patterns, and adoption barriers; share field intelligence with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap decisions
  • Turn one-off builds into reusable playbooks and operational frameworks
  • Identify expansion opportunities based on demonstrated impact; partner with Sales on long-term account strategy

Onsite Engagement & Outcomes

  • Maintain consistent onsite presence (approximately 3-4 days/week), closely connected to agency operations and evolving needs
  • Track customer success metrics: time-to-first-production-use, adoption depth by role and site, workflow improvements, and mission outcomes
  • Support Sales → Post-Sales onboarding and handoff, establishing goals and accountability from day one

What You Bring

Required

  • Experience in customer-facing technical roles, program management, operational transformation, or complex deployment environments (typically 8+ years; varied experience welcome)
  • Former law enforcement or military experience preferred, not required
  • Proven builder: you have shipped working automations, agents, workflows, integrations, or AI-enabled tools in customer environments — configuring products, writing integration logic, and delivering production-ready solutions. Using AI to assist is expected; owning the build is required
  • Comfort working across technical and operational domains: hardware, software, cloud, AI-enabled technologies, and integrated systems
  • Strong communication with both technical teams and senior stakeholders, including command staff in mission-critical environments
  • Full ownership mentality in ambiguous, fast-changing environments; ability to navigate competing priorities across Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Services
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and adhere to security standards

Preferred

  • Experience in public safety, law enforcement, corrections, or other mission-critical operational environments
  • Familiarity with Records, Evidence, digital workflows, AI-enabled platforms, or integrated public safety ecosystems
  • Background in forward-deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or operational transformation at scale

Additional Information

We recognize that candidates may bring strengths from different backgrounds and experiences. If your experience aligns closely with this role, we encourage you to apply.

This role is for builders who earn trust in the room — not for those looking for a predictable schedule or narrowly defined responsibilities. Every week looks different. That’s the job.

Benefits that Benefit You

  • Competitive salary and 401(k) with employer match
  • Discretionary paid time off
  • Paid parental leave for all
  • Medical, dental, and vision plans
  • Fitness programs
  • Emotional and mental wellness support
  • Learning and development programs
  • And yes, we have snacks in our offices

Don’t meet every single requirement? That’s ok. At Axon, we Aim Far. We think big with a long-term view because we want to reinvent the world to be a safer, better place. We are also committed to building diverse teams that reflect the communities we serve.

Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they check every box in the job description. If you’re excited about this role and our mission to Protect Life but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification listed here, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

Important Notes

The above job description is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all duties, responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with this job. The job description may change or be supplemented at any time in accordance with business needs and conditions.

Some roles may also require legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment.

Axon employees are empowered to report safety concerns as they arise and activities potentially impacting the environment.

We are an equal opportunity employer that promotes justice, advances equity, values diversity and fosters inclusion. We’re committed to hiring the best talent — regardless of race, creed, color, ancestry, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship status, marital status, disability, gender identity, genetic information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations and ordinances — and empowering all of our employees so they can do their best work.
