Corbalt is a technology company that partners with federal agencies to modernize and operate complex technology ecosystems. We build shared platforms, engineering foundations, and reusable services that enable mission teams to deliver software faster, operate more efficiently, and scale with confidence.

Our roots trace back to the Healthcare.gov recovery effort, where we saw firsthand what talented, mission-driven teams could accomplish together. That experience shaped how we work today: solving complex technical challenges through collaboration, pragmatic engineering, and a relentless focus on delivering value.

Today, we support critical healthcare modernization efforts at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), helping build and operate the platforms, tools, and services that enable teams across Medicare and Medicaid to deliver secure, resilient digital experiences.

We’re a remote-first team that values curiosity, kindness, ownership, and continuous learning. We enjoy solving hard technical problems, partnering closely with our clients, and building technology that makes government work better for the people who rely on it.

  • Paid vacation, sick time, and company holidays
  • Reimbursement for reasonable expenses that are helpful for work
  • In-person company retreats

Hiring Process

  • The first stage is an informal conversation to learn more about each other, answer questions, and discuss the role.
  • The second stage is a mini-project based on something we’ve actually worked on. The goal of this is to get an idea of what working together is like.
  • The last stage is: a 10-20 minute presentation to the team describing what you did on a previous project and two 30 minute conversations with other people on the team to get an additional perspective on what our work is like.

Engineer Finance Engineer at SPRCHRGR

Builds client-facing financial dashboards, AI automations, and data integrations for a fractional CFO firm's internal tools and platforms.

Mid Remote Posted about 14 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

SPRCHRGR (pronounced “supercharger”) is a professional services consultancy providing highly skilled team members across a variety of complementary disciplines.  We like to say, “cut out the vowels, get there faster!” because we prioritize creativity, efficiency, and performance in our work, and we have fun doing it.

Our exceptional staff + innovative approach set us apart from stuffy traditional accountancies and commoditized outsourced bookkeeping agencies. We think differently about our work supporting high-growth startups, forward-thinking SMBs, and nonprofits located all across the US.

We specialize in cutting-edge technology and partner with dynamic businesses across diverse industries. Our team culture emphasizes collaboration, learning, and process-driven efficiency.

We’re looking for someone who reads a trial balance and writes software. You’ll build the client-facing financial tools for our fractional CFO firm: interactive dashboards and forecasting models, AI assistants that answer finance questions from live accounting data, and automations that take real recurring work off our clients’ plates. We’re small, we move fast, and we build our own tools instead of buying and configuring someone else’s platform.

Who we are

SPRCHRGR combines executive financial leadership, fractional CFO work and controllership with data, systems integration and workflow automation. Our clients run $1 million to $50 million in revenue and get a white-glove build, not a template. We’re small, we move fast, and we build our own tools (when it makes sense) instead of buying and configuring someone else’s platform.

What you’ll do

  • Build and own our client dashboards. Interactive financial models delivered as web apps, with scenario sliders, drill-down tables, and Excel exports a client’s own finance lead can audit.
  • Build AI automations. Small, versioned automations that do one job properly, like turning a client’s billing spreadsheet into reconciled QuickBooks invoices with built-in approval gates.
  • Get the data in yourself. Write the database queries behind our reporting and connect them to live client accounting data. Our VP of Technology owns the platform and will hand you the tools and procedures to work independently, not a ticket queue.
  • Be the person we trust when two numbers disagree. Work discrepancies to a documented answer, and know a genuine variance from two figures that were never comparable.
  • Teach the rest of us. Help our accountants and operators build their own tools instead of depending on you for every one.
  • Work directly with clients. Meet (virtually) with key client stakeholders to work out what they need, then build it. No layer in between, although you’ll have full access to collaborate with other accounting + finance experts within our firm.

Who you are

You have both halves. Finance + Engineering.

  • Finance: real depth in accounting, financial statements, month-end close, receivables and payables, reconciliation, how a general ledger actually works. CPA or CMA is a strong signal; demonstrated judgment matters more.
  • Building: you write and maintain real code and real database queries. Our VP of Engineering partners with you to architect, maintain, and enhance the secure data warehouses, APIs, and hosted web app platform underneath. You can take a system with wrong or missing documentation, work out what it actually does, and build against reality. You’ve built AI tools, not just used them.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of combined experience across accounting or finance and software or systems development.
  • CPA or CMA preferred, not required.
  • Proficiency in SQL preferred, not required.
  • Experience with at least one accounting system in depth, such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Dynamics.
  • Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
  • A dedicated workspace and access to reliable, secure, high-speed internet.
  • An unwavering commitment to confidentiality.
  • Based in the United States
  • Embrace SPRCHRGR’s Core Values.

What this job isn’t

  • Not a reporting role. If you just want to produce monthly financial packages, this is the wrong job.
  • Not a coordinator between finance and engineering. You build.
  • Not a management role in year one.
  • Not a place to learn accounting on the job.

Compensation and benefits

  • Fully Remote: Work from home with a structured schedule.
  • Career Growth: Gain hands-on mentoring and opportunities to work directly with our Founder & CEO.
  • Team-Oriented Environment: Collaborate with Software Engineers, Sr. Controllers, CFOs, and Accounting Managers to synthesize bespoke solutions for our clients.
  • Competitive pay: $150,000 - $180,000 Base Salary, DOE.
  • Phantom Equity: Eligible for consideration after your first year.
  • Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus compensation plan.
  • 401k: Up to a 4% match and no vesting period.
  • Benefits: Customizable options.

What will make you stand out

Send us something you built: a repository, a working file, or a written account of an automation you shipped end to end, with the before-and-after time it took. That matters more to us than a cover letter. If your best example is client work you can’t share, tell us what it did and how you’d rebuild it! bcarotta@sprchrgr.com

Application Notice

At SPRCHRGR, we value fairness, clarity, and attention to detail in our hiring process. To ensure an equitable process, we ask that you submit your application only through the official posting for this role.

  • Do not contact our hiring managers, team members, or leadership directly (via personal email, LinkedIn, or other channels). Applications received in this way will be automatically disqualified.
  • All questions or inquiries regarding your application should be directed to our recruiting team at recruiter@sprchrgr.com.

Notice to External Recruiters

Please do not send unsolicited candidate submissions to our team. Our system automatically blocks domains that repeatedly send unrequested outreach.

WHO WE ARE

Ethical

We do good. We act with integrity, earning trust instead of asking for it, and we do what is right even when it isn’t easy. We are transparent, promptly sharing information and feedback directly and freely with all relevant stakeholders.

Positive

We love what we do. It shows in the positive and constructive attitude we bring every day. We realize work is more than just output; it’s about the life experiences we share along the way.

Passionate

We care. A lot. We expect high performance of ourselves and our teammates. We constantly look to innovate and improve. We play to win and keep raising the bar to deliver results.

Professional

We are one team, focused on the “we” rather than the “I.“ We’re consistently organized and accountable. Our work speaks for itself and stands the test of time.

Inclusive

By design, our team members believe, act, feel, and look differently from each other. We foster a sense of belonging and respect for every individual and we expect the same from our clients and partners.

HOW WE OPERATE

We focus on what matters

We work efficiently but don’t cut corners or compromise on best practices. We prioritize long-term value over short-term gains. We value simplicity over complexity.

We reward it

We reward the effort of our peers with matched enthusiasm. We share the spotlight and credit generously. We celebrate our successes, even the small ones.

We own it

We take pride in our work. We see projects through from start to finish. We continuously update process documentation and fix things we find broken along the way.

We’re a service-first organization

We exemplify a customer-first mindset across everything we do internally & externally, always learning from our colleagues, partners, and clients. While the customer isn’t always right, we value their trust in us and strive to reciprocate value by anticipating their needs, priorities, and expectations.

Engineer Associate Web Development Software Engineer (SDK) at Eulerity

Design and ship developer-facing SDKs, build AI-powered automation workflows, and collaborate across teams to deliver product features and integrations.

Mid Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Eulerity is a fast-growing marketing technology company transforming how franchises and small businesses approach digital advertising. Built by former leaders from Google, Facebook, and Yahoo!, our platform combines decades of experience in engineering and marketing to deliver an industry-leading, automated solution. We make it easy to plan, launch, and analyze paid campaigns across Google Search, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Display, Video, and organic social - all from one intuitive platform. We believe breakthrough results happen when technology, strategy, and creativity come together. By combining automation with human insight, we empower brands to scale smarter, move faster, and grow stronger. Internally, we’re just as committed to growth. We cultivate a culture where ambitious, curious, and driven individuals are empowered to lead, learn, and elevate those around them.

Your Role

  • Designing, building, and shipping developer-facing SDKs consumed by other engineers.
  • Owning the SDK as a product: the public API surface, TypeScript types, semantic versioning, packaging/distribution, backwards compatibility, and documentation.
  • Building and maintaining AI-powered automation workflows that connect our product to internal and external systems.
  • Developing and testing new features using AI-assisted tooling and autonomous agents, maintaining the codebase, integrating with APIs and data models, and owning the PR lifecycle (writing, reviewing, and incorporating feedback).
  • Collaborating across web, mobile, and backend teams to align on best practices, shared architecture, and product direction.
  • Partnering with Product and Design to translate designs and prototypes into shipped solutions for our users and the engineers who build on our SDK.

About You

  • SDK/library builder. You design clean, intuitive, hard-to-misuse APIs and think about the developer on the other side of your interface.
  • AI-first engineer. You’ve set up custom automation workflows (e.g., wiring Claude or similar LLMs into forms, APIs, or internal tools to replace manual work).
  • A self-starter who can take ownership of a project and work independently and collaboratively.
  • Rigorous about reviewing AI-generated output and taking full ownership of the code you ship.
  • Good attention to detail and initiative.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — including the ability to document an SDK so another engineer can succeed with it.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and shipping a developer-facing SDK, library, or public API consumed by other engineers — including the public API/interface design, semantic versioning, and backwards-compatibility discipline that come with it.
  • Strong separation-of-concerns judgment — able to design framework-agnostic core logic (data, state, domain types) cleanly decoupled from thin, framework-specific bindings, so the same core can support multiple front-end frameworks over time.
  • Experience packaging and distributing libraries: bundling (e.g., tsup, Rollup, Vite), ESM/CJS output, tree-shaking and bundle-size awareness, and npm publishing.
  • 2–3 years of professional experience with React & TypeScript, including building reusable, composable components and using strong types as a public contract.
  • Well-versed in building custom AI automation workflows (LLM API integrations, agentic tooling, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of fundamentals (HTML/CSS/JavaScript, working with APIs).
  • Familiarity with standard engineering workflows (PRs, code review, agile).
  • Strong written communication, including clear technical documentation.
  • Based in the NYC metro area and able to work hybrid from our NYC office.
  • Authorized to work in the US.

A Strong Plus

  • Experience building embeddable / third-party components — style and CSS isolation (shadow DOM or scoped styles), theming and customization, and secure auth/token handling inside a host app.
  • Monorepo and release tooling (e.g., Changesets, Turborepo, Nx) and automated CI release pipelines.
  • Backend / full-stack work (Java).
  • Technical writing and developer documentation experience.

Benefits:

  • đŸ©ș Comprehensive benefits

    • Medical
    • Dental
    • Vision
  • đŸ–ïž Unlimited PTO

  • đŸœïž In-office lunch stipend and unlimited snacks

  • 🚅 Commuter benefits

  • 📈 401(k) with company match

  • đŸ’» Hybrid model (3x in office per week)

  • 😎 Summer Fridays

Compensation:

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our company’s size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes benefits, perks and other opportunities at Eulerity. The expected range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000, commensurate with experience and level.

Engineer Associate Web Development Software Engineer (SDK) at Eulerity

Design, build, and ship developer-facing SDKs while building AI-powered automation workflows that connect products to internal and external systems.
