The mission-critical program provides comprehensive training, safety, standards, curriculum development, and technical modernization services to ensure national border security agents can operate safely and effectively.

Who You Are

You are a master of absolute clarity. You have the unique ability to take dense, technical, and complex operational procedures and translate them into clean, user-friendly, and accessible handbooks. You are meticulous about grammar, formatting, and stylistic consistency, and you love collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to capture their technical knowledge accurately.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Draft Technical Documentation: Research, write, and format detailed operational guides, user manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Support Curriculum Development: Edit, proofread, and storyboard CBT training scripts, lesson guides, and study manuals.

  • Enforce Style Standards: Maintain and distribute templates and style guides, ensuring complete compliance with CBP writing directives.

  • Manage Repositories: Maintain highly structured documentation repositories, ensuring rigorous version control and accessibility.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in technical writing, editing, or a closely related role.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Professional Writing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

  • Tools: High proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and modern Content Management Systems (CMS).

When you join our team, you enjoy a robust suite of benefits tailored to support your “whole self”:

  • Comprehensive Health: Competitive medical, dental, and vision options (BCBS CareFirst), plus HSA and FSA.

  • Financial Protection: 401(k) with corporate match, and fully paid life and disability insurance.

  • Work-Life Harmony: Generous PTO, 11 paid federal holidays, and 6 weeks of fully paid parental leave.

Content Principal Content Engineer at Cloudflare

What this role involves

About Us

At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers millions of websites and other Internet properties for customers ranging from individual bloggers to SMBs to Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare all have web traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with every request. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. Cloudflare was named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures list and ranked among the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company.

At Cloudflare, we’re not looking for people who wait for a polished roadmap; we’re looking for the builders who see the cracks in the Internet that everyone else has simply learned to live with. We value candidates who have the instinct to spot a “normalized” problem and the AI-native curiosity to create a solution using the latest tools. Our culture is built on iteration, leveraging AI to ship faster today to make it better tomorrow, while ensuring that every improvement, no matter how small, is shared across the team to lift everyone up. If you’re the type of person who values curiosity over bureaucracy, and that AI is a partner in solving tough problems to keep the Internet moving forward, you’ll fit right in.

Principal Content Engineer — Developer Platform

Available Locations: Austin, TX (Preferred), San Francisco, CA, or New York, NY

Developer GTM is a cross-functional, fast growing team within Cloudflare. We are builders, storytellers, and connectors united by one goal: to make Cloudflare the most exciting place for developers to build.

As the Principal Content Engineer, you are the content engine for that growth. You’ll translate product reality and industry trends into content that developers actually find, read, build from, and come back to. You’ll personally write and build the flagship pieces, including deep tutorials, runnable sample apps, reference architectures, and narratives that make Cloudflare the obvious place to build. You’ll set the architecture, standards, and tooling that let the whole GTM team produce at quality at scale.

Underpinning all of this is a bigger bet: the way people learn is changing dramatically as the Internet and the web evolve. Search is becoming conversational, AI agents consume content directly, and the static tutorial is no longer the end of the learning journey. We believe the learning platform itself has to be reinvented from first principles, not incrementally improved. This role will help shape the next-generation learning platform, both internally (how Cloudflare’s own teams learn and ship) and externally (how developers around the world learn to build on our network).

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You are part principal-grade writer, part engineer, part systems builder. You own the engine, and you also drive the bus.

What you’ll do

  • Own the content architecture for Developer GTM. Define the content types, editorial standards, and quality bar across tutorials, blog posts, sample apps, newsletters, and community/education content. Curate and shape what the team produces: edit for clarity and consistency, prune what’s stale, and make sure every piece fits the whole.
  • Build and run the systems that scale quality. Design self-healing pipelines, AI-assisted review and maintenance, CI checks, and quality guardrails that catch broken examples, stale versions, and wrong APIs before developers do. You treat content as software: versioned, tested, and continuously improved.
  • Write and build flagship content. Produce deep technical tutorials, reference architectures, and runnable demos on the Developer Platform, including Workers, Workers AI, R2, Durable Objects, Queues, and beyond, that developers can clone, run, and learn from in one sitting. Your writing turns complex distributed-systems concepts into something a developer can build in an afternoon.
  • Drive developer acquisition and activation. Partner with Growth, DevRel, Product, and PMM to map content to the developer journey, from discovery and signup, through first deployment, to production usage. Define and track measures of content quality and discoverability, and use analytics and experimentation to keep improving.
  • Be the AI-native edge. Build AI-assisted content tooling and guardrails, and make sure our content is built to be found and consumed by AI agents and LLMs, not just humans. You’re fluent in what AI means for how developers search, learn, and build, and you treat that fluency as the foundation of the next-gen learning experience, not a nice-to-have.
  • Read the industry and turn it into motion. Identify emerging developer behaviors and workloads, across AI agents, MCP servers, vibe coding, multi-tenant applications, and edge-native architectures, and translate them into narratives and content that position Cloudflare as the default platform for how software is being built today.
  • Raise the floor. Establish the conventions, templates, and tooling that writers, advocates, and engineers across GTM adopt so their content stays accurate and consistent. Mentor and coach: the bar you set is the bar the team ships to.

Desirable skills, knowledge, and experience

  • 12+ years at the intersection of technical content, developer education, and software engineering, with a portfolio that shows you can both write beautifully and build what you write about.
  • Exceptional technical writing and editing: enough craft to set a high quality bar and standardize it across a large body of work.
  • Real engineering depth. You can design, build, ship, and maintain production tooling, with proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web development; familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and testing. You’ve built things on serverless/edge platforms (Cloudflare Workers experience is a strong plus).
  • Experience building automated content systems, including pipelines, CI checks, freshness/validation tooling, and AI-assisted review or maintenance.
  • Content analytics and experimentation chops. You measure what works, tie content to acquisition/activation/adoption outcomes, and let data drive the roadmap.
  • Information architecture and editorial standards experience for a substantial technical content surface.
  • Experience establishing editorial standards and information architecture for a substantial technical site or program.
  • Experience guiding a content platform migration or redesign is a plus.
  • Knowledge of evaluation frameworks or observability for AI-powered systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the developer journey and how developers discover, evaluate, and adopt platforms. You know what makes a tutorial convert and what makes a narrative land.

Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

  • For NYC based hires: Estimated annual salary of $230,000 - $317,000
  • For Bay Area based hires: Estimated annual salary of $220,000 - $303,000

Equity

This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.

Content Creator Lead at TubeScience

Develops creator-led content strategy and executes UGC/self-tape production pipelines by analyzing performance data, writing creator briefs, and prototyping concepts on camera.

Mid Hybrid Posted 15 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Role: Creator Lead

Location: Los Angeles Arts District, hybrid 2-3 days in office

Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $90-110K base + Performance-Based Bonus

The Role

We’re looking for a Creator Lead to own the strategy and drive the execution of creator-led content (UGC, self-tapes, creator edits) within a portfolio of brands.

This is a creative strategy role that analyzes performance data and turns those insights into creator-led execution: prototyping new creative approaches by filming yourself, writing briefs that scale, identifying and coaching creators to deliver, and managing the pipeline that turns one strategic idea into dozens of pieces of content.

You’re not just strategizing, you’re embedded in the creative process: making content, giving notes, and raising the bar for what creator-led work looks like at TubeScience.

What You’ll Do

🧠 Own the creator strategy for your brands - developing winning angles and messaging frameworks by analyzing proprietary performance data along with conducting consumer, product, and competitor research

✍️Translate your strategic insights into repeatable creator briefs with clear, actionable direction that creators can run with: connecting performance metrics and brand goals to what actually gets shot

🎯  Own the execution pipeline for all UGC, self-tapes, and creator edits within your portfolio of 5-10 DTC brands, spanning categories like beauty, wellness, food & beverage, pet, apps, and more

🎬 Prototype new creative approaches on camera — shooting proofs of concept yourself to validate ideas before scaling them through the network

📊  Use performance data to guide what you and your team shoot next, iterating quickly on what’s working and killing what isn’t

⚡ Drive execution with speed and autonomy, rapidly turning around concepts, testing at volume, and iterating based on real-time performance

Who You Are

🎭  You bring 3+ years of experience creating content for social media and directing or coaching other creators

💡  You have real performance marketing experience and understand it deeply — you know what a hook rate is, why thumbstop matters, and how to connect creative decisions to data

💎  You’re strong on camera and behind it — you can shoot and perform in UGC-style content well enough to prototype ideas and set the standard for your team

👁️  You have strong instincts for matching talent to briefs — you can look at a creative direction and immediately know the right kind of person to execute it, and you have a point of view on what makes a creator great

💬  You give creators clear, constructive feedback that actually makes their work better without killing their energy or authenticity — they love working with you

📋  You stay organized across multiple brands, creators, and briefs simultaneously without letting things fall through the cracks

🎨  You have deep fluency in digital content culture — you know what’s trending, what’s working, and what feels real versus what feels forced

🗣️  You communicate clearly — translating performance data into creative direction and interfacing seamlessly with cross-functional partners and a roster of freelance creators

📍  You’re based in Los Angeles — this role requires regular in-person presence at our Arts District studio
